Belgium offers business golden visa to foreign businesses and companies, establishing a european headquarters in Belgium with minimal effort. Real estate investments in Belgium under a company qualify for golden visa.
Entrepreneurs, self-employed individuals and investors who are not EU citizens, Belgium offers a relatively easy path to resident status and eventually to acquiring Belgian passport and citizenship after five years of residence.
As the country is within the EU and the Schengen zone, a Belgian residence permit allows citizens whose passport normally requires a visa to enter this zone to travel anywhere within it without the need for a visa.
To qualify for the Golden Visa Belgium, the investment needed is 350,000 euros in public and private sectors and create 10 jobs. Investment costs include incorporating a firm, legal costs etc..
Investor and family qualify for one or two year residence permit (prolonged later) to live in Belgium. There is no requirement to live permanently in Belgium however.
Belgium also offer attractive tax benefits on income earned worldwide. Belgium has an extensive network of treaties with over 80 countries designed to avoid double taxation.
