South Africa Golden Visa for Business investment

South Africa offers business and retirement visas to wealthy investors who want to immigrate to South Africa.

Golden Visa

Applicant must invest at least ZAR 5 million (USD 325,000) in cash or share capital contribution or a combination of both. At least 60 per cent of the staff of resulting business must be South African residents. Applicants also need to secure a recommendation from the Department of Trade and Industry regarding the feasibility of the business and the contribution of the business to the national interest of the country.

Retirement Visa

Persons who wish to retire in South Africa may apply for a retired person visa, provided that he or she has a monthly income of at least ZAR 37,000 (USD 2,400) from a pension fund or an irrevocable retirement annuity or has a net worth or a combination of assets realising a minimum monthly income of ZAR 37,000.

No stay is required in South Africa.  South african citizenship after four years of the eight years prior to application.
