Hungary issued 56,208 valid residence permits as of 2017

According to latest immigration statistics, Hungary issued 56,208 valid residence permits and 22,227 permanent residence cards, according to the new data released by Immigration and Asylum office in Hungary, as of April 2017.

Statistics show Afghans, Iraqis, Syrians are the top nationalities seeking Asylum in Hungary. There were total 12,719 non-european registered asylum seeks in 2016, which reduced to just 1,458 in 2017.
