As many as 72 indian millionaires and their families received tier 1 high value investor visas in the United Kingdom since 2008, according to Workpermit.com.
India is one of the most attractive markets for UK investor program and EB-5 investment visas. UK tier1 investor visas require about GBP 2 million pounds whereas  US EB-5 is much cheaper starting from USD 500,000. UK tier1 entrepreneur visa requires about GBP 200,000 investment in UK businesses.
The following statistics show tier1 visas issued to indians zero in 2008 and peaked at 2013.
In 2014, the UK tier1 investor visa was increased from £1 million to £2 million which shows the number of rich millionaires applying from India declined since 2015.
