Passport ranking indexes rank some of the best passports in the world based on travel freedom, mobility, citizenship, safety and other factors.

Here are the some of the ranking indexes of worlds most powerful passports.

1. Henley Visa Restrictions Index

The Henley & Partners Visa Restrictions Index is a global ranking of countries according to the travel freedom that their citizens enjoy.  The index is produced in cooperation with the International Air Transport Association (IATA), which maintains the world’s largest database of travel information, and is published annually. Countries are ranked according to the total number of other countries which they can access visa-free.

2. Nomad Passport Index

The Nomad Passport Index was designed to educate global citizens about the true value of the world’s citizenships. While most indexes compare only a passport holder’s ability to travel freely, we realized that citizens of different countries deal with far different requirements to pay tax, live freely, and avoid scrutiny when traveling.
