New Zealand approved 1479 investor visas according to immigration statistics

New Zealand approved 176 Investor 1 visas and  1303 Investor 2 visas from July 2007 to Sep 2017, according to Statistics from New Zealand Immigration Office.

The Investor Visa (Investor 2 Category) requires a minimum of NZ $3 million over a four-year period, while Investor Plus Visa (Investor 1 category) requires NZ $10 million over a three year investment period according to New Zealand Immigration Website.

Acceptable investments include equity in companies, Government bonds or property investment with commercial return in New Zealand.

The number of resident visa applications decided from 1 July 2007 and 30 September 2017
