Dutch nationals living in the UK will be permitted to have Dual Citizenship as a result of Brexit.
The Dutch coalition government are allowing their citizens residing in the UK to take up dual citizenship according to The Investment Observer.
It is estimated that 100,000 dutch nationals live in the United Kingdom.
According to the Netherlands dual nationality laws, you might automatically lose Dutch nationality if you acquire another nationality.
Guardian earlier reported “Dutch nationals who take British citizenship to avoid having to leave the UK after Brexit will be stripped of their Netherlands passports due to existing limits on dual nationality, the Dutch prime minister has said.”
