Only two CBI passports have visa free travel to Thailand

Thailand is a Southeast Asian country is the world’s most popular tourist destination known for tropical beaches, opulent royal palaces, ancient ruins and ornate temples

Over 35 million tourists visited Thailand in 2017 alone. Tourism worldwide in 2017 accounted for 10.4 percent of global GDP and 313 million jobs, or 9.9 percent of total employment

According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, only Malta and Cyprus passports have visa free access to Thailand. All other caribbean cbi passports do not have visa free access to Thailand.

  • Malta – visa on arrival (15 days)
  • Cyprus – visa on arrival (15 days)
  • Moldova – visa required
  • Montenegro – visa required
  • St Kitts and Nevis – visa required
  • Dominica – visa required
  • Antigua and Barbuda – visa required
  • Saint Lucia – visa required

Thailand also offers cheapest residency by investment program in the world. It is known as ‘Thai elite’.  Under this scheme it is possible to receive five year residency visa in Thailand by paying annual  THB 500 000 ($15,000) or 20 year visa for THB 1 million.

Thailand offers excellent business opportunities and a central hub for south asia with air connections to Taiwan, Japan, Singapore and Seoul.
