St Kitts has the 26th powerful passport in the World

St Kitts passport is currently 26th powerful passport in the world with visa free access to 151 world countries in a latest survey of passport rankings released by Henley and Partners.

The St Kitts and Nevis Passport has taken fourth place among the countries offering Citizenship by investment programs (CIPs) in the newly released Henley Passport index.

The St Kitts passport ranks first among CBI passports in the Caribbean.

According to CIU, St Kitts passport has visa free travel to over 100 countries including

  • United Kingdom (6 months),
  • Ireland
  • Russia (90days)
  • Israel
  • Brazil (90 days)
  • EU schengen states
  • Turkey (90days)

CBI passport rankings

St Kitts and Nevis has the oldest and most popular CBI program in the World since 1984 and over 16,000 passports has been issued as of 2018. The Government introduced Sustainable Growth Fund in 2018, offering citizenship to foreigners who donate to $150,000 to the SGF sovereign fund and passing due diligence checks. In 2018  the real estate minimum investment has also been cut to $200,000 to boost real estate sector.

According to Henley, countries with citizenship-by-investment (CBI) programs in place all fall within the top 50 of the Henley Passport Index and are continually rising up the ranking.

In 2018,  St Kitts and Nevis signed number of waiver agreements with

Diplomatic relations

  • Bahrain
  • San Marino
  • Sao Tome and Principe
  • Togo

The new visa waiver agreements played a key role in adding more value to St Kitts passport.

Last year  in 2017, St Kitts Government signed Visa Waiver Agreements completed with Brazil and Chile an established  New Diplomatic Relations with 14 new countries such as Ukraine, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Belarus, Bolivia, Kenya, the Dominican Republic, Mauritius and Cyprus. Other Strategic Alliances pending with a number of new States

The US Government also offered visa interview waiver to St Kitts and Nevis citizens

St Kitts and Nevis remains the most popular platininum standard citizenship by investment programmes in the world with a powerful passport.
