Malta RBI scheme ranked as one of the best in the World

Malta Residency by Investment program ranked as the best investment migration programs in the world, according to Henley and Partners.

MRVP keeps growing stronger and stronger. The Maltese RBI has positioned itself as a serious, distinguished Programme. The Agency performs careful and meticulous due diligence processes on all applicants. Furthermore, credit goes to all the Accredited Agents and Concessionaires for promoting this Programme across the Board.

CEO MRVA Roderick Cutajar shared tips and hints to the large audience of Agents during the recent IMC Conference. Mr Cutajar made reference on how important it is to recognise and provide to the needs of prospective clients with due care.

The islands of Malta and Gozo are great locations for a second residency. Tourism increased in Malta by 15% compared to previous year.

Malta residence program has already received excess of 1000 applications since the start and applications are coming in at 50-60 applications per month.

Malta’s RBI scheme known as ‘Malta Residency Visa Scheme’ offers permanent residence to investors who purchase EUR 250,000 worth of non-interest bearing Government stocks/bonds locked for five year and must meet the following requirements.

  • Rent a home in Malta for five years at €10,000 /annual rent.
  • Administration fee : €10,000
  • Parents and Grandparents can be included at additional €5,000/person
  • Health insurance covered
  • Annual income of €100,000 per year or hold €500,000 at disposal

After five years, the entire Government guaranteed investment is fully refunded back to investors, without interest without losing residency in Malta. The RBI scheme also provides provisions to buy a real estate (permanent home) in Malta for  €270,000 on top of investment in Government bonds.
