The Citizenship and residence by investment (CRBI) schemes have seen a significant rise in interest only after 2010. We have decided to look into search trends and interest in Google of these schemes in 2019 and we are surprised with the results.
When we compared the EB-5, CBI and Golden visa schemes, the queries for EB-5 tops above CBI and RBI schemes. Golden visas seem to be more popular than citizenship by investment

There are total 1 billion google indexed pages for citizenship by investment, golden visa and eb-5.
EB-5 alone has 718 million pages. There are 221 million pages for golden visas are three times than that of CBI schemes (only 73 million).

We also looked into search queries of three most popular golden visa schemes in Europe. The Google search trends indicate Portugal is more popular than Greece for search queries and Greece

We also looked into 5 popular CBI schemes for Feb 2019 and there are some interesting results. Malta and Cyprus seem to most popular and interest in caribbean schemes on declining trend with fewer the search queries.

The search interest for Turkish citizenship by investment also fast rising. When we compared with less popular CBI schemes, Turkey seems to lead in Feb 2019 search queries
