Another visa waiver signed by St Kitts! This time its Georgia

The Government of St Kitts and Nevis signed visa waiver agreement today with Georgia allowing visa free travel of our citizens to visit each others’ country.

This visa exemption agreement brings to 23 the new countries granting visa waiver access to citizens of St Kitts and Nevis since 2015.

In 2019, St Kitts already signed visa waivers with Albania and San Marino for mutual visa exemption. By this signing, Georgia becomes the 153rd nation with which we have established visa free entry relationships within recent times.

According to the agreements, holders of diplomatic, official and ordinary passports are permitted entry without a visa into the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis and Georgia, for a period not exceeding ninety (90) days in any one hundred eighty (180) days period.

Foreign Minister Mark Brantley said  “Today marks yet another significant diplomatic achievement of this Government. We have committed to continue on course to make the St Kitts Nevis passport the most powerful in the Caribbean and Latin America.”

St Kitts and Nevis has one of the powerful passports in the Caribbean and the Government is committed establishing diplomatic relations and visa waivers with more countries in 2019. As of mid 2019, the St Kitts and Nevis (SKN) passport had visa free access to 152 countries according to Henley latest passport rankings.

The St Kitts and Nevis also runs citizenship by investment (C.B.I) scheme offering citizenship to investors to make $150,000 donation to a sustainable growth fund or $200,000 worth of property.

The signing of more visa waivers is expected to drive more CBI applications for St Kitts and Nevis adding more value to SKN passport
