The Delegation of Moldova, headed by Chiril Gaburici, Minister of Economy and Infrastructure, has launched the Program to Acquire Citizenship of the Republic of Moldova on an international level. The launch of the program took place at the Global Conference of Citizenship and Citizenship, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The Citizenship Acquisition Program will stimulate economic growth, inspire local industries and facilitate the development of society in general. The funds collected will invest in infrastructure, education and other strategic projects and directions for the Republic of Moldova. The purpose of the Citizenship Acquisition Program is to strengthen the international perception and competitiveness of the Republic of Moldova in order to attract foreign direct investment in strategic development areas established by the Government. According to the program, a foreign investor will be able to obtain the citizenship of Moldova if he allocates at least 100,000 euros to the Sustainable Development Fund or at least 250,000 euros in a strategic field of activity.
During the international conference, the Minister of Economy and Infrastructure mentioned that the Government has developed this scheme based on good international practices, while Chiril Gaburici specified that the winner of the public tender for awarding the public service contract for international development, implementation and promotion The Citizenship Acquisition Program for the Government of the Republic of Moldova is a partner with vast international experience in dozens of countries.
