A New Visa Application Centre (VAC) for Canada has officially opened in Saint Lucia on 10 October 2019.
The centre is open to provide visa services and biometric collection for St Lucia citizens who require a visa or work/student permit for Canada. Applicants no longer have to go to Barbados or Trinidad to have the process done. It does not change the process for Canadian citizens who need to apply for passports or other travel documents.
CBI/CIP citizens of Saint Lucia can also benefit from this visa application center.
The centre is located at the Leverage Business Group office at the bottom of the Mongiraud hill. Hours of Operation: 07:30 – 16:00.
The Canada Visa Application Centre is authorized to provide administrative support services, such as scheduling appointments, collecting visa applications, enrolling biometrics and returning passports in sealed decision envelopes to applicants.
The Visa Application Centre is not authorized to provide any information, or respond to any inquiries, regarding permanent resident applications and Canadian consular services. This includes Express Entry for skilled immigrants, online application support, Canadian citizenship, and any specific information about the visa application forms, supporting documents, or any advice related to the visa application process.
