The Government of Quebec has suspended application intake for Quebec immigrant investor scheme (QIIP) until Nov 1, 2019 to Jul 1, 2020.
“The intake of permanent selection applications under the Investor Program has been suspended from November 1, 2019 to July 1, 2020 in order to allow time for the program to be reviewed”, said Government of Quebec
The Quebec investor visa scheme requires C$1.2 million invested in risk free investments issued by Canadian government. Financing is also an option. There is an annual limit of 1900 applications accepted per year.
While only the Quebec investor stream is temporarily suspended, other streams are partially open for application intake.
