The Saint Lucia CIP legislation also allows revoking citizenship and passport acquired through investments. The Minister will order citizenship to be revoked if it was found application containing false or misleading information or documents OR omitted or concealed formation under section 38 (1) of the Act. If the citizenship by investment of a citizen is revoked under subsection (1), the citizenship by investment of a qualifying dependant also revoked.
In March 2018, citizenship was revoked for six (6) persons based on Saint Lucia’s inability to confirm identity, suspicion on ML, refusal on visa applications by the US or UK and financial or banking fraud.
