Cyprus has record growth in property sales according to the new figures released by land registry office in Cyprus.
Limassol is the most popular location for property sales with over 3400 properties sold in 2018 alone. Nicosia recorded the highest property sales in Cyprus followed by Limassol.

The Cyprus citizenship by investment program have also boosted property sales in Cyprus. Under the scheme investors are required to buy €2 million investment of which buying a home or residential property worth atleast €500,000 is compulsory.
The Cyprus citizenship scheme is currently capped to 700 applications annually. This also means 700 homes will be sold for atleast €500K euros every year. Unil 2017 Cyprus issued a total of 1497 citizenships to main investors.
Cyprus also has golden visa scheme which offers residence permit to property buyers worth atleast €300,000 euros. There is no data currently available on how many residence permits issued for real estate in Cyprus
As of July 2018, only registered service providers can launch citizenship application with the government. There are currently over 500 authorized citizenship consultants for Cyprus
