St Kitts and San Marino has signed mutual visa waiver with San Marino on Feb 1, 2019. This was announced by Hon. Mark Brantley, Foreign minister.
According to the agreement, holders of diplomatic, official and ordinary passports are permitted without a visa into the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis and the Republic of San Marino, for a period not exceeding 90 days within a 180 days period.
The brief ceremony took place in New York at the Permanent Mission of San Marino on 1st February 2019, where the Permanent Representatives further discussed areas for bilateral and multilateral cooperation. This step to further strengthen our bilateral relations comes shortly after the two countries established diplomatic relations in September 2018.
San Marino is the fifth smallest country in the world and the second smallest country in Europe, tucked within Italy. San Marino has the smallest population of all the members of the Council of Europe with a population of 33,000.

In 2018, St Kitts has established diplomatic relations with San Marino. In 2018, the St Kitts Government signed 10 mutual and diplomatic visa waiver agreements and established diplomatic relations with 4 countries.
